An electronic thesis or dissertation is the student’s original research produced, submitted, archived and accessed in an electronic format. The components and structure of the document may be basically the same as paper theses and dissertations or may incorporate more innovative uses of available technology such as audio, video, 3-D models, animations, simulations, and more.
